Terramaya offers four distinct types of guest rooms:
Room #1 & #2 On the first floor, each consists of one full bed, 22" flat panel TV, DVD, walk in shower and private garden with hammock.
Room #3 & #4 On the second floor, 21' Cathedral Celling, each room with one queen bed, walk in shower, 32" flat panel TV, DVD and private balcony with village view. Option to add one single bed.
Room #5 On the second floor, 21' Cathedral Celling, one queen bed, walk in shower, 32" flat panel TV, DVD, private spacious terrace with hammock overlooking our garden and a panoramic view of the archeological park and Copan River Valley. Option to add one single bed.
Room #6 Also on the second floor, 21' Cathedral Celling, one queen bed, single sofa bed, walk in shower & jetted tub, 32" flat panel TV, DVD, private spacious terrace with hammock and an impressive view of the archeological park, Copan River Valley and our garden.

Massages are offered in the Bamboo Patio Pavilion. Surrounded by tropical foliage and flowing white curtains, it's a shady garden hideaway. Our staff therapists; Fatima & Joxany are the most experienced in Copan.
Our lovely outdoor, open to the sky - garden shower, provides a refreshing option to cool off - before & after your massage.
Starting off with a Thai inspired warm foot bath - our signature treatment is a one hour, full body Classic/Swedish massage.

Full breakfast is included in rate and served in the garden or on the terrace. Fresh homemade bread, granola, tropical juices, teas (including herbal teas from our garden), fresh roasted locally sourced organic coffee and fruit are featured. Main dishes include; vegetarian omelette, huevos rancheros, pancakes, banana crepes, french toast & maya quiche. All fruits & vegetables are purchased in the village market, where freshness is a given.
Also enjoy our light, healthy lunches, dinners & snacks. All dishes are homemade, using only natural ingredients.

The hotel features adobe brick lined walls coated with white stucco and a terracota tiled roof which reduces solar absorption, making Terramaya fresh and cool even on the hottest days. Energy efficient A/C and lighting. A linen and towel reuse program is employed and linens and towels are sun dried. Drinking water for guests is provided in glass carafes and complimentary purified water is provided to refill guest water bottles which reduce consumption of plastics. Guest rooms and interior spaces are smoke free and locally sourced foods are used. Our kitchen composts all food waste.

The Ruins of Copan are well known for their artistry, architecture and high relief sculpture which provides a unique perspective on Maya culture and history. The archeological park is located in a lush setting, just 1 km from the village.
Copan boasts a number of fine museums & exhibitions in & around town, the most spectacular of which is the Copan Sculpture Museum located at the Archeological Park.
There are also three important archeological sites nearby; Las Sepulturas, Rastrojón & El Puente.

Copan is a quaint, laid back mountain village of pastel colored homes and friendly residents. Perfect for strolling, day or night - it is extremely safe.
There are plentiful restaurants, cafes and crafts shops and although the town tends to roll up the sidewalks around 9pm, there's always at least one nightspot open until midnight.

The nearby countryside abounds in ecotourism possibilities. Highlights include; the Macaw Mountain Bird Reserve, hot springs, coffee plantation tours, horseback riding and birding.
